About the Program
Undergraduate Academic Affairs (UAA) at Virginia Tech invited applications from graduate students for our inaugural Summer Graduate Internship Program. Interns will undertake meaningful, project-based work across UAA's units — gaining real-world experience while contributing to initiatives that directly improve undergraduate student success.
Although positions are distributed across offices, interns will function as a cohort throughout the summer. Program highlights include:
- A structured orientation to UAA and the university
- Professional development workshops provided by Career and Professional Development
- Cohort outings and networking opportunities
- An end-of-summer celebration and showcase
